Laboratory Equipment Processing
To effectively serve the pharmaceutical, medical and chemical industries with a single source vendor for the recovery, recycling, reuse, and/or resale of IT, electronics and laboratory equipment; Hesstech has developed programs to handle a wide variety of laboratory and medical equipment. Hesstech will manage the decontamination, deinstallation, logistics, processing, destruction, and transfer of ownership for all equipment.
Unlike the traditional liquidation companies that simply auction off surplus equipment, Hesstech's programs focus on safely removing all contaminants and other potential hazards from equipment prior to the transfer of ownership to another user or recycling and destruction. Cradle-to-grave documentation, including destruction certificates for regulated materials, and online reporting are available.
In accordance with federal regulations and state regulations (see Domestic Regulations), when the potential exposure to toxic substances or harmful agents exists, specific programs and processes must be instituted when handling equipment that pose a potential risk to worker safety.
