| Introducing An Innovative
Pilot Program That Gives New Life to Used Technology - And Ensures
Its Proper Disposal
Hesstech and the National Cristina Foundation (NCF)
are pleased to announce a new program, which combines the donation
of good usable equipment with recovery of the scrap metal value from
non-working or obsolete equipment.
For more than 25 years, NCF has provided an effective
method for corporations to donate their IT equipment to reputable charities,
schools, and public agencies. The NCF donation program provides a
simple, vetted, cost-effective, and clearly defined process for
donating usable equipment and end-of-life processing.
To further promote product stewardship Hesstech
has committed to recycle any equipment returned from a charitable
recipient at no charge. NCF will also benefit from proceeds generated
from scrap metals recovery for non-working or obsolete equipment.
The program meets four important objectives:
- It is now possible to combine the donation of
good usable equipment with some of the metals recovery value
from non-working or obsolete equipment
- Charitable recipients have been pre-screened by NCF,
saving you valuable time and resources. Likewise, Hesstech has
vetted all downstream markets and can provide documentation
verifying environmentally sound practices are employed for
equipment disposal
- Certified data destruction services are employed
eliminating any risk of data loss
- The program provides for the free take-back of your
donated equipment when it comes to the end of its (second)
useful life... closing the loop for recycling
